Negotiations Intern
Position Purpose
Provide support to the Procurement Department in supplier management, quotation analysis, and negotiation processes, contributing to cost optimization, on-time delivery performance, and the strengthening of business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement and sourcing policies.
- Participate in meetings with suppliers to follow up on agreements and business opportunities.
- Collaborate on cost reduction and continuous improvement projects.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department.
- Maintain supplier databases and related documentation up to date.
- Follow up on purchase orders and commitments agreed upon with suppliers.
- Prepare comparative supplier analyses considering cost,
quality, and service.
- Participate in negotiation processes related to pricing, delivery times, commercial terms, and contracts.
- Request, collect, and compare quotations for materials, products, and services.
- Support the identification, evaluation, and development of potential suppliers.
Requirements
- Availability to work the required schedule.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
- Expected graduation date within one year.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in International Business, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
