Requirements

Must-Have

3-7 years of engineering experience with strong RL fundamentals

Prior experience building RL environments at an RL company OR at a human data company with hands-on RL exposure (Surge, Mercor, Turing, Scalar AI Labs, Proximal, comparable)

Hands-on experience building AI agents in production

Strong AI-native tooling fluency: uses AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, comparable) daily as production aids

Located in LATAM or India (Bangalore) with a willingness to work 5.5 days a week with PST overlap

Nice-to-Have

Prior experience at a top human data company (Surge, Mercor, Turing, Scalar AI Labs)

Full-stack engineering background (TypeScript, AWS) for marketplace work

iOS, Swift, or React Native experience for mobile app development

Prior startup experience with demonstrated shipping cadence
