The Supplier Quality Engineer investigates, analyzes and resolves supplier quality problems by conducting audits, analyzing defect trends and leading continuous improvement projects. Working in project teams, the Supplier Quality Engineer is applying advanced quality planning to ensure that new developed products are meeting the expectation of Sensata and Customers.

General Responsibilities
• Organizes resolution of problems related to misunderstanding or misinterpretation of product specifications
• Key participant in active support during the supplier selection process, to ensure that a well-prepared and best supplier
• Provides technical input for strategic sourcing projects
• Key participant in / requests Supplier Risk Assessments
• Supports drawing and tool design reviews, works on measurement concepts

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands




• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Electronic Products expertise (PCBAs, FPCAs, SMT processes, electronic components, harnesses)
Ceramics and Chemicals knowledge prefered
