Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Controls Engineer to provide technical support and leadership for industrial control systems used in manufacturing processes.
This role is responsible for improving system performance, reliability, and efficiency through advanced troubleshooting, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

and mechanical systemsAbility to read and interpret electrical diagramsProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCADfor schematics is a plusSelf‐directed and capable of working with minimal supervisionPosition OverviewThe Controls Engineer will develop and maintain control system standards and configurations for new and existing manufacturing equipment.
This includes overseeing installation, commissioning, and validation of control systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with operational requirements.The role involves implementing programming changes to improve equipment performance, analyzing manufacturing processes to identify automation opportunities, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
The Controls Engineer will also maintain and update technical documentation, including control logic, schematics, and system configurations.Responsibilities include leading troubleshooting efforts using structured problem‐solving methodologies, improving equipment reliability through data analysis, and driving initiatives based on key metrics such as MTTR, MTBF, availability, and OEE.
The role will also support predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance strategies.Additionally, the Controls Engineer will train production and maintenance personnel on system operation, diagnostics, and programming, while collaborating with tooling, engineering, and operations teams on new equipment and process development.
