Experience in CAD design, CAE simulation and product development preferred.
Experience with elastomer products, sealing systems or automotive applications strongly desired.TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:Expert proficiency in SolidWorks; surfacing, configurations, and drafting standards; CATIA experience is a plus.Working knowledge of elastomer materials (e.G., EPDM, NBR, FKM, Silicone) and rubber molding processes (compression, transfer, injection) is preferred.Understanding of sealing system design constraints (compression set, squeeze, interference, groove design, surface finish).
Ability to apply GD&T; per ASME Y14.5 or ISO **** on drawings, with basic tolerance analysis.Familiarity with dimensional tolerance standards for rubber parts, e.G., ISO ******:**** (moulded/extruded/calendared products) when applicable.Familiarity with APQP/PPAP elements and document control in an IATF ***** environment (DFMEA linkage, dimensional results, MSA inputs).
Experience with Abaqus, Ansys, HyperWorks, OptiStruct, Nastran or equivalent simulation tools.
Understanding of hyperelastic materials, contact mechanics,



nonlinear analysis, fatigue, durability and sealing system behavior.KEY SOFT SKILLS:Clear, concise communication and structured reporting to stakeholders.Teamwork and cross‐functional collaboration with AE, Quality, Manufacturing, Suppliers.Organization, attention to detail, and on‐time delivery across multiple requests.TEAM SKILLS:Hutchinson is built around teamwork.
