Job DescriptionJoin Intel as a Silicon Validation Engineering Intern and embark on a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and make an impact in the semiconductor industry.
In this role, you will contribute directly to the validation of Intel's next generation high-performance CPU and interconnected interfaces, ensuring they meet Intel's high standards for quality, power, thermal, and performance.You will play a key role in shaping Intel's next-generation technologies, supporting the development of cutting-edge innovations used by millions worldwide.Gain hands‐on experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment as you apply your technical skills to real‐world challenges while exploring potential career paths within Intel.You will have the unique opportunity to team up with architects, designers and cross‐functional teams to set up post‐Silicon validation environments, define test content, execute validation plans, and measure, analyze and report CPU's power and performance validation results.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport power, thermal and performance validation of silicon products.Assist in debugging efforts, identifying root causes, and proposing effective solutions to ensure product quality.Perform data analysis for validation metrics to assess coverage and product readiness.Contribute to the development and implementation of validation infrastructure and test environments.Participate in test automation efforts to enhance validation efficiency and scalability.Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to build a cohesive validation workflow.Develop technical expertise by exploring system architecture and SoC microarchitecture.Idóneo CandidateWilling to tolerate ambiguity and confident to ask clarifying questions to understand the next steps.Self‐motivated and eager to learn new tools and methodologies to enhance technical expertise.Excellent interpersonal and team player skills willing to interact in cross‐functional teams.Minimum QualificationsCurrently pursuing a BSc, MSc or PhD degree in Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (with at least 1 year remaining before graduation).
Advanced English level.6+ months of experience in: Programming skills in Python or C/C++.
Analog Electronics, circuit analysis, and data analysis techniques.Foundational knowledge of system architecture and/or SoC microarchitecture.Root cause analysis and problem‐solving experience applied to electronic circuits and/or computer systems.Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship).
Preferred QualificationsExperience using electronic lab test equipment (e.G., oscilloscopes, data acquisition systems).
