SEG is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer – Public Works to join our team in San Pedro, N.L. The successful candidate will support the planning, design, and delivery of public infrastructure projects, including roadways, drainage systems, water and wastewater utilities, grading, and municipal improvements.This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.All engineering designs are developed using Civil 3D (NO CivilCad).
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience creating and modifying engineering models, alignments, profiles, corridors, grading plans, utility networks, and construction documents within the Civil 3D environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare construction plans, profiles, cross-sections, and technical drawings for Public Works projects.Design roadways, intersections, sidewalks, and municipal improvements.Develop grading plans, earthwork models, and surface designs using Civil 3D.Design storm drainage, sanitary sewer, and water distribution systems.Create and manage Civil 3D objects, including surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, pipe networks,



and assemblies.Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support engineering designs.Coordinate utility layouts and resolve design conflicts.Review engineering calculations, specifications, and construction documents.Ensure all designs comply with client standards, municipal requirements, and applicable engineering codes.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.Advanced English communication skills (B2 - C1).
