**LOCATION**:Acuna / Coahuila (MX-COA), Mexico | **BRAND**: Bendix | **REQUISITION ID**:**** |** JOB GRADE**:12|** ON-SITE/REMOTE**: On-site**JOB DESCRIPTION**:Essential Functions:- Define, implement and leads indirect purchasing processes and controls- Lead commodity strategies for tool crib components- Assist to implement Kanban, VMI initiatives- Identify Benchmark and submit Cost Deployment initiative- Manage Inventory Targets for Tool crib inventory- Manage Obsolete Inventory Process for Tool crib Inventory- Expedite Critical material- Manage Escalation process on bad delivery suppliers- Understand and meets Quality and EHS procedures- Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned- Knows and Communicates the need for product safety.
- The employee has the authority to stop the production line, when he/she notices that the product has a quality problem or defect.
- Support PSA Activities and procedures with team members- Perform all those activities that by the nature of the position are required.Management & Supervisory Responsibilities:- Reports to plant Materials Manager- Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees.Co-ops or students may report to this position.Knowledge:- Demonstrated knowledge on Purchasing Policies,



negotiations and procurement procedures- Demonstrated on manufacturing environment, including performance management- Demonstrated Problem Solving Methods- MS Office Expert with experience on tables and charts**Experience**:- Experience in developing Purchasing strategies- Proven results driving supplier performance- Proven results driving cost deployment projects- 3-5 years on purchasing experience, automotive industry desired- SAP ERP knowledge**Skills**:- Purchasing and Procurement Procedures- Strong dedication and works ethic- Strong organizational, interpersonal and written communication skills (Spanish and English)- Self-Starter and high level of self-motivationEducation/Certifications:Bachelor's degree required, Business Administration or related.
