- Review,



analyze and advise on regulatory approaches to advance strategic initiatives, participate in the development and execution of regulatory strategies, and develop global insights for Executive Management on the regulatory implications of strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with integral and regional Mastercard regulatory and product counsel, external counsel, and other cross-functional stakeholders to provide advice on obtaining new licenses, supervisory matters, compliance, examinations, and systems of control related to licensing requirements.
- Partner with regional regulatory colleagues to engage with and build positive relationships with regulators.
- Provide support to Mastercard's Franchise and Financial Crimes/Anti-Money Laundering teams.
- Monitor relevant regulatory developments and work closely with internal stakeholders to determine and address the impact of these changes.
- Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of laws and regulatory themes related to payments, money transfer, e-commerce, banking/financial services, domestic payment schemes, commercial payments, and anti-money laundering.
- Coordinate and draft regulatory submissions, talking points, and other materials as part of advocacy processes.All About You:- A law degree from an established and reputable law school.




- A proven and successful track record working in a legal practice setting in fields such as regulation, technology, finance, corporate, at an international corporation, law firm or regulator- Deep expertise in payments regulation, particularly related to domestic and cross-border funds transfers.Experience advising on digital assets a plus.
- Experience working in a role primarily focused on providing regulatory-focused product counsel within a financial services, payments or other related organization.
- Proven success in navigating multi-national organizations and operating effectively within a diverse multicultural environment.
- Experience collaborating with and advising compliance functions.
- A proactive, time-sensitive, results-driven approach to addressing obligations and responsibility with proven success balancing competing priorities, setting expectations with stakeholders and managing workload effectively.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with fluency in English and Spanish.Fluency in Portuguese a plus.
