As a Global S&T; Innovation Manager, you will Ability to develop, plan, and implement the global innovation strategy including regional strategies.Coordinate locally and guides regional technical strategy for the global team.Impacts multiple different technology platforms with at least one being high sales volume ($100+MM) and global in nature.You will be an expert in technological innovation and will manage the global technology development lead for high-level internal and customer interfaces on a global basis.Identify global opportunities to deploy existing knowledge and technologies.You will promote the implementation of innovations in consideration of the strategy that can support team growth and leadership.You will report to Global Technical Director, General Architectural Coatings & Traffic Solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**- Year over year improvement in global portfolio discipline through improved processes, implementation of new or modified tools, and setting Indicators.
- Help implement portfolio management process in new locations.
- Front end development - Promote transformational/ inspiring Innovation.
- Design mechanisms in collaboration with global marketing to promote open innovation.
- Share Roadmap tools (visualization, analysis, evaluation) and support technology planning to create stronger planning processes (identify value offer, contribution to business)- Conduct competitive intelligence and provide valuable information to support decision-making and development of new projects.
- Knowledge deployment to support regional development processes.
- Lead global data science formulation AI for AC.
- Improve Engagement and culture through the annual AC development award.
- Lead global definition and distribution of AC IP pillars.
**Qualifications**- A BS degree in a technical or engineering discipline is required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role with experience authentic leadership, collaboration, and customer relationship.




- Appropriate and an understanding of financial methodologies, performance metrics, product development methodologies, and S&T; metrics.
- To set a vision and goals concerning technology to improve the leadership position of AC PPG.
- Demonstrated by deep industry and technology knowledge, with PPG executives, and inspiration leadership with employees.
- Manage in with broad range of internal/external partners, markets and product technologies.
- Work externally with main customers, suppliers, and industry partners.
- Work internally with partners, functional leaders, finance leaders, and main team members.
