Flex is the diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products that improve the world.Job SummaryJob summary:- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a _Buyer Direct_ located in _Guadalajara, North Campus_._- Reporting to the Purchasing Manager Direct, Buyer Direct role involves_ _Coordinates activities involved with procuring direct materials, components and equipment._What a typical day looks like:- _ Tracking metrics, challengers, placement, push-out, and dispatching according to customer requirements and production plans._- _ Maintaining relations with the suppliers._- _ Placing orders for necessary raw materials and purchased parts according to the requirements of the production._- _ Receiving and handling the confirmations._- _ Checking the purchase orders and modifying them according to the changes in the production plan with the help of the Shortage List and the Open Purchase Order List._- _ racking shipments, urging them if needed._- _ Regular, weekly check of the stocks, avoiding overstock._- _ Minimizing the risk of obsolescence with the help of the weekly check of the obsolete report._- _ Correspondence with the freight forwarders, warehouses,
