**Job****Description: MRO Buyer****Key Responsibilities**:- **Procurement of MRO Items**:- Identify, source, and purchase MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) materials and supplies, including spare parts, equipment, and services required to maintain operations.
- ** Vendor Management**:- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors of MRO products and services.
- Evaluate and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery conditions with suppliers to ensure the best value.
- ** Inventory Control**:- Track and manage MRO inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock to meet production and maintenance demands while minimizing overstock.
- ** Cost Management**:- Develop and implement strategies to minimize MRO costs without compromising quality.
- Monitor and manage procurement budgets and negotiate cost-saving measures.
- ** Data and Reporting**:- Maintain accurate records of MRO purchases, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
- ** Collaboration with Internal Teams**:- Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to understand requirements for materials and services.
- Assist with the development of maintenance schedules and strategies to ensure the availability of necessary parts and supplies.




- ** Compliance and Safety**:- Ensure that all purchased MRO materials meet regulatory and safety standards.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices in procurement, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
- ** Problem-Solving**:- Address issues related to delayed shipments, damaged goods, or incorrect orders.
- Resolve conflicts between vendors and internal departments efficiently and professionally.Experiência y requisitos**Skills****and Qualifications**:- ** Educational Background**: Typically, a degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field is preferred.
- ** Experience**: Prior experience in procurement, supply chain management, or maintenance operations is advantageous.
