Descripción y detalle de las actividadesEssential Responsibilities:- Available to work in Night shift (4:30 pm- 4:30 am) Mon-Wedand 4:30 pm-10:30pm ThursdaySupervises manufacturing operations which include Machining,Chemical Process areas, also Support Maintenance, Quality Inspection (requisite)- Work directly with program managers to ensure thatschedules are appropriate to requirements on timing and budget.
- Develops and maintains manufacturing operations businessplans to include all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, and productioncosts.
- Reviews production and operating reports and directs theresolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensureminimum costs and prevent operational delays.
- Provides leadership and direction for all production areasincluding budgets, staffing, training and development, setting goals anddeadlines and generation of related policies and procedures.
- Set expectations and evaluate performance of all directreports, including planning, assigning, and directing work; conducting reviewsand using positive reinforcement to motivate achievement and disciplinaryaction within the confines of fairness and company policy; and addressingcomplaints and resolving problems.
- Develops, plans and implements processes and procedures toensure manufacturing targets and performance goals are met and drivesinitiatives for continuous improvement by reducing cycle time and product flowtime by improving process capabilities, incorporating wastereduction methods,



developing and maintaining effective costcontainment/reduction strategies,- Investigate and analyze new materials, equipment andprocesses.Experiência y requisitosBachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, finance,operations or business with a minimum of 5 years manufacturing supervisory ormanagement work experience or high school diploma or equivalent with 7 yearsmanufacturing supervisory or management work experience.Skills Required:Excellent organizational skills and able to workindependently and take initiative when necessaryKnowledge of lean, TPM, six sigma tools and problem-solvingmethodologyMust be able to motivate, influence, and educate peopleMust have ability to multitask and to prioritize taskcompletionExcellent demonstrated verbal and written communicationskills.Excellent demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, andstrategic skills.Ability to effectively lead a cross-functional team.Proficient in knowledge of computers and related programs(i.e. MS Excel, MS Outlook, etc.).
