- Plan the sequence of operations and procedures and documents manufacturing standard work and routings.
- Plan the allocation of resources, materials and personnel to establish maximum utilization of equipment.
- Conduct studies pertaining to cost control, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory control.
- Lead and support **process improvement initiatives** to optimize efficiency and reduce operational waste.
- Perform **scrap and rework analysis**, including data review, root cause identification, and implementation of standardized procedures.
- Participate in **tooling design** using SolidWorks, ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and alignment with engineering requirements.
**Qualifications You Must Have**:- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related engineering field and 5 years of prior relevant experience- Medium-advanced Excel user- Good communication & presentation skills- Project management- Experience using continuous improvement tools including LEAN, Six Sigma, etc.- Experience leveraging influencing, interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to drive results.
- SolidWorks experience required- **Must be available to work the evening shift, from 3:10 p.m. to 11:10 p.m****Qualifications We Preferred**:- Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience with Drawings, BOMs, Routings, Manufacturing Procedures and product specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering; Mechatronics or Mechanical preferred, Industrial or Aerospace also acceptable.
