Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst –
HCLTech – Shared Services (Mexico Scope)
Role Summary
The AP Analyst –is responsible for executing high-volume Accounts Payable activities within a shared services environment, ensuring accurate invoice processing, compliance with Mexican tax regulations (SAT), and adherence to internal controls and SLAs. The role supports vendors and stakeholders while ensuring all transactions meet legal and fiscal requirements in Mexico.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Processing (High-Volume Environment)
Process vendor invoices in SAP (MIRO, FB60, FB65) in line with SLAs
Perform 2-way/3-way match (PO, GRN, Invoice) with high accuracy
Process non-PO invoices ensuring proper approvals and documentation
Handle multi-entity and cross-border invoices when applicable
Respond to vendor queries (including CFDI rejections or tax issues) within SLA
Coordinate with:
Procurement (PO discrepancies)
Tax team (withholding and SAT validations)
Business users (invoice approvals)
Follow up on pending approvals to prevent aging and non-compliance
Ensure adherence to HCLTech internal controls, SOPs, and SOX requirements
Support internal/external audits (including SAT-related audits)
Ensure all invoices are compliant for deductibility purposes
Identify and resolve discrepancies:
Incorrect CFDI structure or missing XML
Cancelled or duplicated invoices
Tax inconsistencies
Escalate high-risk items (non-compliant invoices, tax errors) to senior team members
Support resolution of blocked invoices in SAP
Support reconciliation of:
Vendor balances
SAT reported vs recorded invoices
Withheld taxes
Invoice processing productivity (volume/day)
Accuracy and First-Time-Right (FTR %)
SLA / TAT compliance
Vendor query resolution time
Tax accuracy (withholding applied correctly)
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
English Fluent – Spoken and Written
0–2 years of AP / Finance Operations experience (shared services preferred)
Basic understanding of Mexican tax framework (SAT, CFDI, (IVA, ISR withholdings)
SAP knowledge preferred
Excel (filters, lookups, pivot basics)
