The Role

The Senior Accountant position is an integral part of the GL team tasked with accounting for the Company’s domestic and international operations according to US GAAP. The GL team functions under a centralized global shared services concept. The Senior Accountant will act as an interface with other departments within the Company.

Your Impact

- Preparation of monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Collaborate cross functionally and record appropriate intercompany, accruals and compensation entries.
- Prepare worldwide intercompany matrix and actively resolve variances throughout the close.
- Assist in streamlining and automating intercompany transactions workflow within Oracle and related projects.
- Incorporate ongoing system reporting improvements in the monthly close process.
- Assist in preparation of schedules, analysis and financial results for external auditors.
- Identify process improvements in the month-end close process and intercompany matrix automation.
- Assist the team as needed including any ad-hoc project work.
- Document policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility.

What You'll Need

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 5 years of relevant GL accounting experience.
- Feel comfortable working 4 days on site.
- Location: Reforma
- Thorough understanding of US GAAP.
- English conversational skills or above.
- Strong analytical, quantitative skills and accounting research skills.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word and MS Excel.




- Prior experience working with Oracle or a similar ERP is desirable.
