NATIONAL CHANNER PARTNER COORDINATOR
Purpose: The National Channel Partner Coordinator is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining all necessary functions related to the management of sales through our channel partners. This position drives positive outcomes by facilitating stakeholder needs and concerns to reach acceptable solutions. This includes effective implementation and coordination of all policy and sales strategies associated with our Channel partners. The National Channel Partner Developer is expected to and has the authority to make routine decisions regarding the channel strategy that assure the business practices and goals of Walter Mexico are being met.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development of relationships at all levels of Channel partners.
- Actively contribute to plans and programs that will increase effectiveness and will grow sales and market share consistent with Wal-ter expectations in this channel.
- Grow relationships with Top Management of Channel partners.
- Administer all National Channel programs, including price adjustment rebates, cutter exchange/test tool programs, agreements and discounts.
- Liaison between channel members, field sales and headquarters resources.
- Develop and recommend programs and practices, including discounts, related to channel development for these segments of channel.
- Establishes annual areas of focus within channels.
- Management of on-going sales and incentive programs for Channel Partners.
- Develop and implement training programs for Channel in coordination with Walter Mexico Training Manager.
- Maintain close working relationship with Walter Marketing organization.
- Actively assist in the development and support of Marketing product programs and activities.
- Preparation and attainment of budgeted sales and profitability.
- Monitor and analyze end user purchasing channel trends and requirements.
- Coordinate Target Account Activity.
- Develop overall Walter Channel Strategy/Policy (with MD).
- Develop Walter Distribution Value Proposition/Capabilities.
- POS Management.
Other Responsibilities:
- Scorecard Management/Report Card .
- Extranet Maintenance.
- Contract and Pricing Management Review.
- Conduct special assignments as requested.
- Sales Tracking (Reporting).
- Support Conversion Activities.
- Promo‘s and Monthly Flyer Activity.
- Develop growth strategy for each Channel Partner.
- Develop Marketing Plan for each Channel Partner.
- Distributor Policy / Handbook ownership.
- Attend and coordinate all Shows for our Channel Partners.
Education and Experience:
University Degree in engineering, advanced technical degree, or experience yielding equivalent knowledge in cutting tool technology. Several years of sales experience with industrial cutting tools where new business development is the primary focus OR several years of manufacturing experience and ability to sell in end-user and channel sales model Experience in a manufacturing or distribution marketplace. Experience in working independently from a home office or virtual office environment and traveling a significant amount of time. Advanced proficiency in English,
