Field Specialist – LWD/DD

Join our Drilling Services Team as a Dual Field Specialist. You will provide solutions to moderately complex problems on the wellsite by evaluating situations or data that require reviewing multiple operational factors.

Responsibilities

- Provide resolution to moderately complex problems at the well site, including analysis of situations or data and review of relevant factors
- Exercise judgment to determine appropriate action and troubleshooting through hands‑on experience and training
- Maintain operational status of field equipment and perform maintenance when appropriate
- Execute other related duties as assigned
- Conduct business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal compliance, and core values
- Report on Drilling Services portfolio activities, mainly FE and DD
- Demonstrate knowledge of wellbore placement, collision avoidance practices, hydraulics, torque & drag simulations, BHA handling, and well‑construction technologies
- Develop proficiency for delivery of Logging While Drilling and Directional Drilling services on site
- Complete advanced technical training and assigned well‑site development programs
- Communicate and facilitate continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications





- Valid professional degree and license are required; Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related field
- More than 5 years of experience in Directional Drilling Services in the last 10 years (both LWD and Directional Drilling), verified with employment verification letter and field reports
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English
- Good team player with excellent customer awareness

Additional Requirements

- Foreign personnel must possess an apostilled degree, valid passport, and work permit (FM3/FM2)
- Employment verification letter must be signed by Human Resources and include position, entry and exit dates
- Valid official identification
- Optional supporting documentation: field reports, seaman’s book, clear copy of official ID (INE or Passport), IADC Rig Pass, RMOU course certificates, certified SINGA course, IADC Well Sharp course
