We are currently seeking motivated University Interns to join our team in Ensenada, Baja California. What you’ll do

- Assist with a variety of operational and administrative tasks within the assigned department to support daily activities.
- Participate actively in continuous improvement projects, helping to identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains.
- Collect, organize, and analyze relevant data to support decision-making processes and improve departmental performance.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards that communicate key insights and performance indicators to team members and leadership.
- Support documentation efforts, including updating procedures, standard operating protocols, and process documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Attend and contribute to follow-up meetings, providing updates on assigned tasks and collaborating with team members across departments.




- Help identify areas for improvement within processes or workflows and propose practical solutions to enhance productivity and quality.
- Apply academic knowledge to real-world projects, gaining insight into manufacturing operations, quality control, or other relevant areas.
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues, supervisors, and internal clients to ensure smooth workflow and information sharing.
- Adhere strictly to Fender's policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.
- Perform additional tasks or special projects as assigned by supervisors, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.

Requirements

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or engineering program, with a preference for final semester students.
- Availability to commit approximately 25 hours per week to the internship, with flexibility to accommodate academic schedules.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, to support data analysis, reporting, and documentation tasks.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insights.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Good problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and proposing solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Spanish; intermediate English proficiency is a plus.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Respect for company policies, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards.

Nice to have

- Familiarity with fields such as industrial engineering,



mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, systems/software engineering, business management, international business, business administration, foreign trade, human resources, marketing, finance, logistics, industrial safety, or related disciplines.
- Previous internship or work experience in manufacturing or corporate environments.
- Knowledge of quality management systems or process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Basic understanding of supply chain processes or production workflows.
- Experience with data analysis tools or software beyond Microsoft Office is advantageous but not required.
