What you'll do
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely updates on project progress.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product development and technical support, to deliver customized solutions that meet client requirements.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their needs, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling Gentrack's services.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations that enhance Gentrack's market position.
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and service agreements to clients, ensuring clarity and alignment with their expectations.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops for clients to maximize their understanding and utilization of Gentrack's products and services.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables,
ensuring that all client commitments are met on schedule and within budget.
- Analyze client data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive strategic initiatives.
- Support the sales team in identifying new business opportunities and participating in the sales process as needed.
- Contribute to the development of marketing materials and case studies that highlight successful client engagements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by sharing best practices and lessons learned with colleagues and clients alike.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in client management, account management, or a related field, preferably within the utilities or transportation sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels of an organization.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing client needs.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, ensuring timely delivery of client projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating independence and initiative.
Nice to have
- Experience with software solutions related to utilities, transportation, or similar industries.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards relevant to the utilities sector.
- Previous experience in a sales or business development role, with a focus on client acquisition and retention.
