Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Jr Trade Compliance Analyst.
Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027.
The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.
What You’ll Do
The major role is to ensure the effective Annex 24 & 30 of Maquila program management, fixed asset administration and virtual operations management, avoiding Customs and Fiscal risks for Eaton, including material, information and technology (TSMX Software).
Essential Functions
Responsible for IMMEX program, AEO and VAT certification management, comply with ongoing and specific obligations, renewals, and the management of regulatory authority requirements.
Responsible Fixed Asset Annex 24 management and reconciliation.
Responsible for R8 administration
Ensure the data integrity of Trade Compliance processes.
Fixed Asset reconciliation finance master file against Annex 24 inventory control, to ensure that the information for 100% of the assets is fully aligned and consistent.
Upload reports and all documentation related to the Annex 24 & 30 in the VAT webpage OneSource.
Support to ensure the full compliance with New Customs Regulations, Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Classifications USA/ Mexico, Free trade agreements, etc.
Develop strategic plans or projects to avoid customs risk or improve the Import-Export & Trade compliance process.
Achieve metrics and goals related to Trade Compliance
Record Keeping of Operations & Legal trade documents
Support internal & external customs audits, i.e. SAT, CBP, internal audits, Customs firms, Quality Systems, etc.
Comply with all Eaton Training program.
Supporting all Eaton Certifications as: CTPAT, MESH, Industria Limpia, etc.
Promotes the company’s mission by actively supporting Eaton’s safety and values as well as quality policies.
Qualifications
Specialized Knowledge
Degree qualification in foreign trade or related discipline
3 years in IMMEX program, AEO and VAT certification management (CIVA), Foreign Trade Inventory Control or in a manufacturing environment, automotive preferred.
Knowledge in Customs procedures and compliance
Possess Effective Communication Skills
Working Knowledge of MRP / ERP system as a plus
Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel audit formulas).
USMCA, CIVA, AEO, IMMEX
Mexican programs to reduce duties as PROSEC, Rule 8va
HTS Classification technical skills
US Customs regulations.
Fixed Asset Administration knowledge and experience
