What you'll do

- Engage with clients to provide updates on cargo status and the overall progress of customs operations.
- Coordinate the customs clearance process while ensuring compliance with non-tariff regulations, including tariff fractions, necessary permits, and automatic notifications.
- Inform clients about any changes in shipment status, including damages or discrepancies that may arise.
- Input data related to maritime, air, rail, terrestrial, and special operation pedimentos into the system.
- Manage the processes of opening and closing consolidated pedimentos efficiently.
- Prepare and organize shipping remittances for various shipments.
- Complete all necessary pedimento documentation in accordance with Annex 22 regulations.
- Maintain accurate databases and generate reports to track shipment progress and compliance.

Requirements

- 0-2 years of experience in the field of foreign trade or logistics.
- A degree in Foreign Trade, Logistics, or a related discipline is required.
- A solid understanding of customs regulations and foreign trade legislation is essential.
- Familiarity with pedimento entry systems is necessary for this role.

Nice to have

- Basic proficiency in English to facilitate communication with international clients.




- Experience with Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is advantageous.

Skills & tools

- Proficient in handling customs documentation, particularly Annex 22.
- Knowledgeable in pedimento entry systems for efficient data management.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of foreign trade compliance to ensure adherence to regulations.
