- Monitor production plans and schedules to ensure efficient execution in alignment with quality objectives and deadlines.
- Ensure that department personnel possess the necessary training (Training Matrix) to perform their duties.
- Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality, leveraging reward and recognition channels to foster desired behaviors and results.
- Assess machinery and equipment resources to ensure continuous production and minimize downtime.
- Determine daily requirements for materials, equipment, and labor.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Strong command of conversational English (advanced level).
- Prior experience managing production in a manufacturing/maquiladora environment and managing personnel; 2-4 years of experience as a production team leader, manager, coordinator, or junior supervisor.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (completed, in progress, or incomplete).
- Experience in the electronics industry, including assembly, manufacturing, and electronics contract manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (or similar software).
