Source and manage a pipeline of potential acquisition targets across software sectors
Lead outbound outreach to founders, CEOs, and senior executives
Identify attractive markets and develop targeted sourcing strategies
Collaborate with M&A; leadership to assess deal fit and prioritize opportunities
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
Present qualified acquisition opportunities to the internal M&A; team
Track pipeline activity and outreach efforts through CRM tools
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support deal sourcing initiatives
Support the evaluation of potential targets through preliminary financial and strategic analysis
Develop and refine prospecting lists based on defined acquisition criteria
Coordinate closely with internal teams to align sourcing efforts with broader M&A; strategy
Monitor industry trends and identify emerging opportunities within the software ecosystem
Access to global M&A; deal flow within a leading software groupDirect exposure to deal sourcing strategy and acquisition pipeline development
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Experience in M&A;, business development, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development
Advanced English required
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with exposure to C-suite stakeholders
Proven ability to work independently with a strategic and analytical mindset
Experience in outbound prospecting and direct engagement with senior-level targets
Solid financial acumen and commercial judgment
Experience with CRM tools and advanced Excel skills
Competitive salary: MXN $65,000 - $95,000 gross per month + variable incentives
Hybrid work model based in Polanco, Mexico City (minimum 1 day on-site per week)
