About the role

Uber Freight Mexico Customs, operated by TP Laser, is hiring professionals to manage import and export operations. You will oversee transportation and customs workflows to ensure cargo is delivered accurately and efficiently while maintaining high service standards for our clients.

What you'll do

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding cargo status and customs progress.
- Coordinate customs clearance, request necessary documentation, and verify compliance with non-tariff regulations, permits, and tariff classifications.
- Notify clients immediately regarding shipment status, cargo damage, or operational discrepancies.
- Process customs entries for maritime, air, rail, and ground shipments, including special operations.
- Manage consolidated entry openings and closures.
- Prepare shipping remittances and complete customs declarations according to Annex 22.
- Generate essential clearance documentation, including COVES, PITA, and DODA.




- Maintain digital records and ensure all internal operational processes are followed.
- Coordinate and supervise tasks with external commercial partners as required.
- Track metrics and manage data reporting.

Requirements

- 0 to 2 years of experience in foreign trade.
- Bachelor degree in Foreign Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
- Understanding of customs legislation and foreign trade regulations.
- Basic familiarity with customs entry software.
- Proficiency in Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
