Team: Uber Freight Mexico Customs (operated by TP Laser)
What you’ll do Respond to inquiries from both internal teams and external clients through phone and email communication, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
Oversee the coordination of consolidated entries, ensuring that all shipments are efficiently managed and organized.
Prepare traffic notes and handle the processing of shipping orders to maintain smooth operations.
Develop and track shipment references, ensuring accurate and timely updates throughout the shipping process.
Create print previews for necessary documentation, ensuring that all paperwork is accurate and ready for distribution.
Review and disseminate inventory reports to clients, providing them with essential information regarding their shipments.
Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency in customs operations.
Stay updated on customs regulations and procedures to ensure compliance and facilitate smooth transactions.
Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation required for customs clearance.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge of customs practices and logistics.
Engage with various stakeholders to resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process.
Contribute to team meetings by sharing insights and suggesting improvements to current practices.




Requirements A completed degree in International Business, International Trade, or a related discipline is essential.
Recent graduates or individuals nearing graduation are encouraged to apply, providing an opportunity for entry-level professionals.
Candidates should have between 0 to 1 year of experience in land-based imports, offering a foundational understanding of the field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, as these tools are essential for daily tasks and communication.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for interacting with clients and team members.
Nice to have Basic proficiency in English is advantageous, as it may facilitate communication with international clients.
Familiarity with customs systems and online portals can enhance your ability to perform tasks efficiently.
Experience in logistics or supply chain management, even if limited, can be beneficial in understanding the broader context of the role.
Skills & tools Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, for documentation and communication.
Experience with customs portals and systems for managing import documentation and compliance.
Familiarity with import documentation management processes to ensure adherence to regulations and standards.
