Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to hire a NPI Process Engineering Manager located in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Program Management. The NPI Process Engineering Manager role involves the new product implementation andensuringthat it will satisfyFlex customers.Alsopreparesthe cost estimatesand the budget for the NPI projects.

What a typical day looks like:

Facilitate the product launch and makeit known to the customers.

Keep updates with production of new products from project planning to production.

Evaluate productreviews given bycustomers.

Ensure that product schedules are followed during its development.

Work closely with other departmentssuch asManufacturing, Quality Assurance, Logistics,Planningand others.

Work with other teamswho are involved in product development.

Negotiate with manufacturers and suppliers to meet company and customerexpectations.

Make project cost estimates including the resources,capitaland other requirements to make the project successful.

Conduct meetings with suppliers to improve the new products.

Offer the best solution that will cater the needs of the customer while making sure that the company will be productive and can save a lot in the process.

Coordinate withcustomers regarding new product specifications and features.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:





Engineering degree or bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Previous experience in similar roles

English advanced

Proven experience leading products from concept, design transfer, prototype, EVT, DVT, PVT, pilot builds, and mass production launch.

Broad manufacturing engineering knowledge across: Mechanical Assembly/Test Engineering/Automation/Industrial Engineering/Fixtures and Tooling Development

Program Execution Excellence

Product Industrialization Expertise

Customer-Facing Leadership

Expertise influencing product design decisions that improve:

Risk Management & Decision Making

Ability to evaluate technical, operational, and commercial risks.

Talent Development & Organizational Building

Manufacturing Automation Strategy

Validation & Qualification

Failure Analysis Expertise

Structured root cause methodologies: 8D/DMAIC/Ishikawa/Fault Tree Analysis/A3 Thinking
