The Senior Focus Factory Manager is responsible for leading all functions within the Focus Factory while driving operational excellence across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, Employee Performance, and Continuous Improvement. This role partners closely with the Value Stream Leader to achieve profitable growth, improve customer satisfaction, and maximize operational performance.
In addition to manufacturing leadership, this position has a strong emphasis on Materials Management and Supply Chain , ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout the manufacturing process. The idóneo candidate will lead Production Planning, Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, and Material Availability while driving Lean Manufacturing initiatives and developing high-performing teams to support business growth.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead all Focus Factory functions, including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, and Employee Performance.
Manage Materials Management, Supply Chain, Production Planning, Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, and Logistics activities.
Ensure uninterrupted material availability while optimizing inventory levels and improving inventory accuracy.
Partner with Procurement, Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to eliminate material shortages and improve supply chain performance.
Lead New Product Introduction (NPI), in-sourcing initiatives, and value stream optimization projects.
Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives utilizing ABS tools, including Kanban, 5S, TPM, SMED, Standard Work, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis.
Monitor and improve operational KPIs, including: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost,
Customer Satisfaction, Inventory Accuracy, Inventory Turns, Material Availability, On-Time Delivery (OTIF), Production Efficiency.
Develop and coach managers, supervisors, and manufacturing teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Utilize ERP/MRP systems to improve planning, scheduling, inventory management, and operational visibility.
Identify innovative opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, material flow, operational efficiency, and business performance.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
6–8+ years of leadership experience in Manufacturing Operations, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or Operations Leadership.
Proven experience leading: Materials Management, Supply Chain, Production Planning, Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, Logistics.
Strong background in high-volume manufacturing environments.
Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Hands‑on experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar).
Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Advanced English proficiency.
Experience partnering with Procurement and Strategic Sourcing organizations.
Knowledge of SIOP/S&OP; planning processes.
APICS/CPIM, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar certifications are a plus.
Travel Requirements
Up to 25% domestic and international travel, as required to support multiple manufacturing locations, operational initiatives, leadership meetings, and continuous improvement projects.
