Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning (EYFS Framework)
- Plan, prepare, and deliver activities aligned with the EYFS areas of learning.
- Implement play-based, child-centered learning experiences that support exploration and discovery.
- Support development across the seven areas of learning: communication and language, physical development, personal, social and emotional development, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence.

Observation, Assessment, and Planning
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress in line with EYFS requirements.
- Maintain accurate learning journeys and developmental records.
- Use ongoing assessment to inform planning and individualized learning experiences.
- Identify children who may need additional support and implement early interventions.

Care and Wellbeing
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and emotional security of all children.
- Support children’s personal care needs,



including hygiene, feeding, and toileting as appropriate.
- Promote positive behavior, routines, and independence.
- Foster strong attachments and positive relationships with children.

Learning Environment
- Organize and maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
- Prepare and manage age-appropriate learning materials and resources.
- Ensure all areas are compliant with health and safety requirements.

Parent Partnership and Communication
- Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers.
- Communicate regularly about children’s development, wellbeing, and progress.
- Participate in parent meetings, workshops, and school events.
- Support a collaborative approach between home and school.

Safeguarding and Compliance
- Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
- Ensure compliance with EYFS statutory requirements, health and safety standards, and school policies.
