We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Accountant
The purpose of this position is to be responsible for key aspects of the company’s cost accounting functions, including period-end closing, financial reporting and audits. This role interfaces with multiple functional groups, including managers/leaders across the organization and is considered a key liaison for the Accounting department as well as across Finance.
Activities
*Perform month-end closing responsibilities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, manufacturing variance analysis, and inventory reporting. Identifies and reports any anomalies or trends to Manager, Cost Accounting
*Perform standard and in-depth cost rolls on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods requested by Corteva Supply Chain Team
*Support Financial Reporting to Finance, Controllership and Portfolio leaders with all internal financial reporting requirements (especially related to Cost Accounting), and ad-hoc projects/r
