key responsibilities

- lead and support sap fico implementations, rollouts, and production support activities.
- gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- configure and customize sap fi modules, including:
- general ledger (gl)
- accounts payable (ap)
- accounts receivable (ar)
- asset accounting (aa)
- bank accounting
- configure and support sap co modules, including:
- cost center accounting
- profit center accounting
- internal orders
- product costing
- profitability analysis (copa)
- support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- provide l2/l3 production support by resolving incidents, troubleshooting issues, and performing root cause analysis.
- collaborate with mm, sd, and abap teams to support integrations and resolve cross-functional issues.
- handle mexico cfdi requirements, including:
- electronic invoicing
- pac integration
- sat compliance
- regulatory reporting
- support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
- participate in unit testing, integration testing, uat, and deployment activities.
- create and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents,



process documentation, and user guides.

required skills & qualifications

- 8+ years of experience as an sap fico consultant.
- minimum of 1–2 end-to-end sap fico implementation projects.
- strong expertise in sap fi:
- general ledger (gl)
- accounts payable (ap)
- accounts receivable (ar)
- asset accounting (aa)
- bank accounting
- strong knowledge of sap co:
- cost center accounting
- profit center accounting
- internal orders
- product costing
- copa (profitability analysis)
- experience with sap production support (l2/l3).
- experience in incident management and root cause analysis.
- hands-on experience with mexico cfdi and e-invoicing compliance.
- experience with pac integration and sat regulations.
- knowledge of latam localization, particularly mexico.
- experience with sap interfaces, idocs, and enhancements.
- strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

preferred qualifications

- experience with sap s/4hana finance.
- experience with fscm, treasury, or taxation modules.
- experience working in general delivery/onshore-offshore environments.
- sap fico certification is preferred.
