The Windows Administrator is responsible for the design, operation, security, and optimization of Windows-based infrastructure across on-premises and AWS EC2 environments. The role exists to ensure highly available, secure, and cost-effective Windows systems that support business-critical workloads in a hybrid cloud model.
- Administer, configure, and support Windows Server environments across on-prem and AWS EC2, including OS deployment, patching, performance tuning, and lifecycle management.
- Provide hands-on operational support for AWS EC2 Windows workloads, including instance provisioning, AMI creation and maintenance, right-sizing, cost optimization, and availability design.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP,



and identity integration across hybrid environments, ensuring secure authentication and authorization.
- Monitor system health, availability, and performance across Windows and AWS EC2 platforms; troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
- Implement and maintain security hardening, patching standards, vulnerability remediation, and compliance controls for Windows systems in AWS and on-prem.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, automation scripts, and operational runbooks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Windows or Systems Administrator
- 3+ years of hands-on AWS EC2 support experience for Windows-based workloads
- Strong expertise with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
- Deep experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP in hyb
