Main goals
Perform precise and timely accounting records, complying with fiscal regulations and established internal controls. Provide high-standard customer service while achieving high levels of efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with MxGAAP and US GAAP.
- Ensure all financial activities adhere to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) requirements and internal control standards.
- Prepare and review tax compliance according to local laws (LISR, LFT, LSS).
- Utilize financial systems for reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes with high accuracy.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
Experience Requirements
- 2+ years in a similar accounting role (ideally in a manufacturing or multinational environment).
- Strong understanding of Mexican tax laws and international accounting standards.
- Advanced MS Office (especially Excel).
- Hands-on experience with ERP/Financial systems: SAP, QAD, PLEX, BPCS, HFM, Blackline, or LMS.
- Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Intermediate English B1 or higher
