The Role
As Mainframe Automation Specialist at Kyndryl, you’ll support and maintain automated processes within enterprise mainframe environments, helping ensure system efficiency, stability, and uninterrupted operations. This role plays a critical part in daily technology operations by enabling reliable system performance through automation, monitoring, and proactive management.
You are responsible for administering and optimizing mainframe platforms while supporting batch processing, system availability, and operational compliance.



Working closely with general teams, you will identify issues, apply fixes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen service quality at Kyndryl.

Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain automated processes across mainframe environments to ensure operational efficiency and stability.
- Administer and optimize mainframe systems, including z/OS, z/VM, and z/Linux platforms.
- Monitor system performance and control operations from the main console to ensure availability and reliability.
- Plan, schedule, and execute batch processes supporting critical business operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation and system issues to maintain operational continuity.
