Role Description: The Accountant role at REET Company is a full-time, remote position. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. The Accountant prepares and analyzes financial reports, reconciles bank and account statements, and assists with budgeting and forecasting.

Day-to-day tasks include processing invoices, monitoring expenses, supporting month-end and year-end close activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.



The Accountant also collaborates with internal teams to provide financial insights that support decision-making and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.

Proficiency with accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems, Excel).

Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.

Ability to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (such as CPA or CMA) are a plus.

Prior experience in hospitality, property management, or healthcare-related businesses is beneficial.
