Sobre nuestro cliente Our client is a leading manufacturing company in the life sciences industry, recognized for its innovation, quality standards, and continuous investment in advanced technologies. The organization is currently undergoing a strong growth phase, with a clear focus on automation, operational excellence, and digital transformation. Descripción - Lead the automation strategy and execution across two manufacturing sites (Mexico and the United States) - Drive standardization and scalability of automation processes across both plants - Manage automation projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timing, cost, and quality targets are met - Oversee PLC, HMI, SCADA, and control systems integration and optimization - Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency, downtime reduction, and OEE improvement - Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams - Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements (especially within a life sciences environment) - Evaluate and implement new automation technologies and industry best practices - Lead, develop, and mentor the automation engineering team - Travel frequently between both locations to ensure alignment,
implementation, and performance of automation initiatives Perfil buscado A successful Automation Manager should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field) - +8 years of experience in automation within a manufacturing environment - Proven experience leading automation projects and technical teams - Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens preferred), HMI, SCADA systems - Experience with robotics, vision systems, and advanced manufacturing technologies is highly desirable - Solid understanding of industrial networks and control systems architecture - Experience in regulated industries is a strong plus - Advanced English level required - High level of adaptability, resilience, and willingness to travel frequently between Mexico and the U.S.
