We are seeking a AWS Cloud / DevOps / Platform Engineer who can operate with a high degree of ownership and independence while contributing to the design, build, and operation of scalable AWS environments.

This role is suited for early-career engineers who already have hands-on AWS experience and are ready to take on more responsibility in managing cloud infrastructure end-to-end. You will partner with DevOps, Security, and Application teams, while also being trusted to drive tasks independently—from implementation through troubleshooting and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform) with minimal supervision
- Independently manage and optimize AWS networking components, including:
- VPCs, subnets, and route tables
- Client VPN and site-to-site VPN
- Internet Gateways and NAT Gateways
- Security Groups and Network ACLs
- VPC Peering, Transit Gateway, and PrivateLink

- Support and troubleshoot hybrid and multi-account AWS environments
- Own configuration and resolution of VPN, Direct Connect, and routing issues
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, while independently executing assigned automation tasks




- Monitor cloud resources and proactively optimize for performance, cost, and availability
- Lead initial troubleshooting for incidents and contribute to root cause analysis
- Apply AWS security and networking best practices in day-to-day operations
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation with minimal guidance

Required Skills &

Experience

- 3–5 years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, especially:
- EC2, VPC, IAM, ALB/NLB, Route 53
- S3, RDS, CloudWatch

- Strong networking fundamentals, including:

- TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S
- CIDR, subnetting, and routing
- Firewalls and load balancing concepts

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK)
- Working knowledge of Linux systems
- Proven ability to troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues independently
- Familiarity with multi-account AWS environments

Education
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field from an accredited university or technical institute in LATAM (Argentina, Chile, México, or equivalent) preferred
- Alternatively, completion of a recognized technical or vocational program (e.g., coding bootcamp, cloud engineering program) from a reputable LATAM institution, combined with relevant hands-on experience
- AWS certifications (e.g., Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate) or equivalent training strongly preferred




- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning through certifications, labs, or real-world projects

- Proactive, self-driven, and collaborative approach
