About the Practice

Dental Care Mexico (DCM) is a multi-specialty dental clinic in the Zona Río area of Tijuana, serving a growing base of U.S.-based patients traveling from California and Nevada for high-quality, affordable dental care. We're looking for a skilled, patient-focused dentist to join our team as an independent contractor.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Dentist with strong experience in cosmetic dentistry (veneers) and general dentistry to provide end-to-end patient care — from initial consultation through treatment and follow-up. This is an independent contractor role, adecuado for a dentist who wants a flexible, high-volume practice environment with an established international patient base.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct pre-treatment consultations with patients (many traveling from the U.S.), reviewing dental history, diagnostic imaging, and treatment goals
- Diagnose oral health conditions and recommend appropriate treatment plans, clearly explaining options, timelines, and costs to patients
- Perform cosmetic dentistry procedures, with emphasis on veneers (porcelain/composite), smile design, and aesthetic case planning
- Perform general dentistry procedures (e.g., fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions, cleanings, and other restorative work as applicable)
- Provide post-treatment follow-up care, monitoring healing/results and addressing any patient concerns
- Maintain clear,



accurate clinical documentation for each patient case
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with English- and Spanish-speaking patients, ensuring comfort and clarity throughout their treatment journey
- Coordinate with front-office, treatment coordination, and support staff to ensure a smooth patient experience
- Uphold clinical safety, sterilization, and quality standards

Requirements
- DDS/DMD (or Mexican equivalent — Cirujano Dentista) with active professional license (Cédula Profesional) to practice in Mexico
- Proven experience in cosmetic dentistry, specifically veneers and smile makeovers
- Solid general dentistry background across a range of restorative and preventive procedures
- Fully bilingual — fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish
- Strong chairside manner; comfortable working with international/out-of-town patients
- Experience with pre-treatment consultations and case presentation
- Reliable, professional, and available to work on-site at the Zona Río clinic

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience treating U.S.-based or cross-border patients
- Familiarity with digital smile design or intraoral scanning technology
- Continuing education/certifications in cosmetic or restorative dentistry
