Role Description The cajera role at Tortilleria’s Jenny is a full-time, on-site position based in Tijuana, BCN. The person in this role will handle customer transactions, operate the cash register, process cash and electronic payments, and provide accurate change. Daily tasks include greeting customers, answering basic questions about products and prices, issuing receipts, keeping the checkout area organized, and monitoring inventory levels for items at the counter.

The cajera will also assist with packaging products, maintaining cleanliness in the front-of-house area,



and supporting other team members as needed to ensure smooth store operations.

Qualifications

Ability to operate a cash register, manage cash handling accurately, and process different payment methods.

Strong customer service skills, including clear communication, patience, and a respectful attitude toward all customers.

Basic math skills for handling transactions, counting change, and reconciling daily sales.

Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain a clean, orderly checkout area and accurate records.

Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work a consistent full-time schedule on-site in Tijuana, BCN.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks such as packing and lifting small product bags.

Experience in retail or food service is preferred but not required; on-the-job training can be provided.

Basic Spanish communication skills are highly beneficial for interacting with customers and team members.
