Role: Cloud Engineer with Media

Location: Remote - Mexico

OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Media API & Cloud Engineer to design, develop, and maintain backend services leveraging Google Cloud Media APIs . The adecuado candidate will build scalable media processing workflows, integrate Google Cloud Livestream, Video Stitcher, and Transcoder APIs, and ensure reliable live streaming, video processing, and server-side ad insertion (SSAI).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Google Cloud Media API Development

- Develop backend applications integrating Google Cloud Livestream API , Video Stitcher API , and Transcoder API .
- Configure and manage Google Cloud resources supporting media workflows.
- Implement authentication, API integrations, request/response handling, and service orchestration.
- Build scalable media processing pipelines for live and on-demand video.

Backend Engineering

- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Python, Go, or Node.js .
- Implement business logic supporting media ingestion, transcoding,



packaging, and delivery.
- Optimize workflows for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Integrate storage and content delivery services.

System Maintenance & Support

- Troubleshoot streaming failures, transcoding issues, and SSAI problems.
- Participate in on-call rotations and resolve production incidents within SLA requirements.
- Apply bug fixes, security patches, and continuous improvements.

Testing & Documentation

- Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- Maintain technical documentation, API references, and implementation guides.
- Produce reusable sample applications and code snippets.
