As a Cloud Network Administrator, you will support the implementation, administration, automation, and ongoing operation of Epicor’s global cloud networking infrastructure. You will help maintain the reliability, availability, performance, and security of enterprise network services supporting business-critical SaaS environments across Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and on-premises infrastructure.
What You Will Be Doing
Support the implementation, administration, and ongoing operation of Epicor’s general cloud and enterprise networking infrastructure
Maintain the reliability, availability, performance, and security of network services supporting production SaaS environments
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN environments, Palo Alto Networks firewalls, site-to-site and remote-access VPNs, load balancers, WAN optimization technologies, DNS, and other core network services
Develop and enhance network automation solutions using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Git, and similar technologies
Participate in infrastructure deployments, migrations, upgrades, technology refresh initiatives, and other projects affecting global network environments
Monitor network health, analyze performance trends, and recommend improvements that increase capacity, resilience, scalability, and operational efficiency
Provide Tier 2 operational support, incident response, root cause analysis, and timely problem resolution for business-critical network infrastructure
Participate in an on-call rotation supporting production environments
Maintain accurate network documentation, operational procedures, infrastructure standards, and configuration records across global environments
Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, security, application, and vendor teams to design and deliver reliable networking solutions
Identify opportunities to improve network provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows through automation, standardization, documentation, and process improvement What You Will Need To Succeed Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts, including routing, switching, firewalls, VPN technologies, DNS, authentication, load balancing, and network security
Experience supporting Microsoft Azure and AWS networking services, including virtual networks, VPN connectivity, load balancing, security controls, and highly available cloud architectures
Working knowledge of Palo Alto Networks firewalls, enterprise monitoring tools, and network performance analysis in complex production environments
Experience supporting highly available enterprise, SaaS, or large-scale cloud infrastructure
Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code principles and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies
Familiarity with Git, pull request workflows, GitOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines used for infrastructure management
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills with the ability to resolve complex production issues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document technical solutions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global, cross-functional team
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive working relationships across departments and with external vendors Qualifications Required 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure
3+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud networking environments
Experience administering enterprise firewall platforms, VPN technologies, and network security solutions
Experience supporting production environments requiring high availability and operational reliability
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver timely resolutions
Experience implementing or supporting network automation using Terraform, Ansible, or similar Infrastructure as Code frameworks
Familiarity with Git-based source control, pull request workflows, and collaborative infrastructure management practices
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation supporting business-critical production environments
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and relevant industry experience Preferred Experience supporting globally distributed enterprise infrastructure
Experience with enterprise monitoring and network performance analysis tools
Experience working within ITIL or another structured operational support environment
Experience supporting SaaS or large-scale enterprise environments
Exposure to GitOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and network configuration management
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or an equivalent networking certification
Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or a higher-level Azure certification
Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) or an equivalent certification
