About UDP
UDP is a data integration and AI decision-making platform built for the real estate industry. We connect fragmented data sources across the property lifecycle and turn them into trusted, actionable insights that help our clients make faster, smarter decisions. We’re building AI-powered decision systems with a full data product, from ingestion and modeling to semantic layers and self-serve analytics, and we're looking for a Data Analyst who wants to own that journey end to end.
The Role
As a Data Analyst at UDP, you'll shape how data flows, is modeled, and is consumed across the organization and by our clients. You'll work closely with Operations, Product, and Engineering to translate messy real estate data into clean models, reliable metrics, and BI experiences that people actually use.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys the full data craft, combining sharp analytical thinking (asking the right questions, finding the signal) with strong engineering practices (clean data models, reusable SQL, healthy dbt projects) and is eager to layer in AI and automation to transform how data is validated, explored, and consumed. What You'll Do
Own end-to-end analysis: from raw data to modeled tables to dashboards, with a clear narrative of what the numbers mean.
Design AI-powered agents to validate data, detect anomalies, and monitor pipeline health — improving reliability and trust in our data systems.
Design, build, and maintain dashboards in our platform for client-facing use cases.
Partner with Product and Engineering to define metrics, tracking, and data contracts for new features in our AI decision-making platform.
Write advanced SQL and Python/R to perform analysis, build data models and automations, and ensure data quality through testing, documentation, and monitoring.
Leverage AI tools to build validation agents and automations that test data quality, catch anomalies, and monitor pipeline health
Translate real estate domain questions into data models and metrics that scale across clients and use cases.
What You BringMust-haves
1–4 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or similar role.
Advanced SQL: complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and performance-tuning of queries against large datasets.
Hands-on experience with BI tool data modeling, measures, and report design
Working knowledge of Python or R for analysis, scripting, or data automation.
A product mindset: you care about who uses the dashboard, not just that it ships.
Clear communication: you can explain an analysis to a PM, an engineer, and a client in the language each one needs.
Fluent English (written and spoken) for async collaboration across a distributed team.
Nice-to-haves
DAX for advanced Power BI modeling and measures.
Experience with a cloud data warehouse (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
Curiosity or experience applying AI/LLMs to data problems (e.g., prompt engineering, automation, AI copilots, etc.)
Real estate, proptech, or fintech domain experience.
What Success Looks
Like
First 30 days: you've onboarded to our stack, shipped your first metric model or dashboard enhancement, and mapped the key data domains for your area.
First 90 days: you independently own analyses and models for at least one business area, raise the quality bar on at least one existing data asset, and introduce an AI-driven improvement to a workflow
First 6 months: stakeholders trust the metrics you own, you've helped shape a piece of our semantic layer, and you're contributing to how we scale analytics as a product.
Why UDP
Full data product exposure: work across ingestion, modeling, semantic layer, and BI — not just the last mile.
High-impact domain: real estate is massive, fragmented, and data-hungry. Your work makes real decisions.
Modern stack: we are an AI-first company
Remote-first: work from wherever you do your best thinking, with async-friendly processes.
Ass a short note about a data project you're proud of, ideally one where you owned both the modeling and the story behind the numbers. Portfolio links, GitHub repos, or dashboard screenshots are very welcome.
