Role Description The DevOps Specialist (AWS/Azure) will work part time in a remote capacity, collaborating with development and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure. This role will focus on provisioning, configuring, and monitoring environments in AWS and Azure, ensuring reliability, security, and cost-efficiency. Daily responsibilities include managing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, optimizing container orchestration, and troubleshooting system issues across environments.

The DevOps Specialist will also contribute to improving development workflows, documenting processes,



and advising on best practices in cloud architecture and infrastructure as code.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Integration to support automated build, test, and deployment workflows.

Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and related tooling for modern DevOps pipelines.

Candidates should possess practical skills in Kubernetes for container orchestration and scalable application deployment.

Candidates should possess solid proficiency in Linux for system administration, scripting, and environment management.

Experience with AWS and/or Azure services (compute, storage, networking, monitoring) and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Knowledge of security best practices, performance optimization, and cost management in cloud environments.

Ability to collaborate effectively in remote, cross-functional teams, with clear written and verbal communication.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior DevOps or cloud engineering experience in a consulting or product environment is highly beneficial. Willingness to work on a project basis / versátil hours.

Work Arrangement: Remote | Project-based contract.
