Epicor iScala ERP Consultant (Functional / Technical) — Bilingual Spanish

Aberdeen Advisors is retained by a integral manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Epicor iScala consultant to support and strengthen their ERP operations across Mexico. This is a hands-on, project-based engagement for someone who knows iScala deeply — not a generic ERP analyst role.

You will be the go-to iScala resource for a Mexico-based business unit, working directly with Accounting, AR, FP&A;, Logistics, and Customer Service, and coordinating with IT stakeholders in the United States.

What you'll do

- Provide functional and technical support across iScala Financials (GL, AP, AR, AM), Purchasing (PO/RQ), Sales Order, Inventory Control, and Logistics.
- Lead master data improvement, validation, and correction work — ensuring integrity and consistency across the platform.
- Configure and maintain iScala processes: business workflows, catalogs, parameters, and data structures.
- Build and support reporting: Crystal Reports, SSRS, and Epicor Query/Report Writer output for business users.
- Develop and maintain integrations between iScala and surrounding legacy systems, primarily via Epicor Service Connect.
- Execute data migration, bulk load, extraction, and reconciliation activities.
- Drive functional testing and UAT, produce process documentation, and train key users.

What you need

- 5+ years hands-on Epicor iScala in a functional and/or technical capacity. Versions 2.x/3.x through 2023.1; legacy Scala 5.1 experience is a plus.
- Strong module depth in Financials, Purchasing, Sales, Inventory, and Logistics.




- Microsoft SQL Server : T-SQL, stored procedures, query tuning, database troubleshooting.
- Reporting: Crystal Reports and/or SSRS . Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Epicor Service Connect or comparable integration tooling.
- Demonstrated data migration and master-data validation project work.
- Spanish at native or full professional level (business and technical). English at professional working level for documentation and US coordination.
- Availability Monday–Friday during Mexico Central Time business hours, with occasional cross-region flexibility.

Nice to have

- Mexican localization exposure (CFDI, electronic invoicing, DIOT, SAT reporting).
- Multi-entity or multi-currency iScala configurations.
- Prior work inside a subsidiary of a European or North American parent company.
- Manufacturing, chemicals, or distribution industry background.

Engagement details

- Contract (C2C or 1099), full-time dedication, approximately 12 months with extension based on performance and business need.
- Remote, aligned to Mexico Central Time.
- Interview process: technical screen with client representatives → stakeholder interviews with IT and Accounting in Mexico → final interview with the Finance Director.
