Erlang

Engineer at BairesDev As an Erlang Engineer, you will build highly concurrent and fault-tolerant systems designed for massive scale. You will leverage the BEAM VM and OTP framework to create resilient, real-time infrastructure that maintains high availability even under extreme load.

What You'll Do Design and develop distributed, soft real-time applications using Erlang and the OTP framework.

Implement highly concurrent systems utilizing lightweight processes and asynchronous message passing.

Build and maintain supervisor trees to ensure system self-healing and robust fault tolerance.

Optimize system performance and scalability across distributed BEAM nodes and clusters.





Manage the full development lifecycle of mission-critical messaging or telecom-heritage infrastructure.

Apply hot code reloading techniques to update production systems with zero downtime.

What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on functional programming.

Proven expertise in building highly concurrent and fault-tolerant systems using Erlang.

Deep understanding of the OTP framework and the BEAM virtual machine.

Strong background in developing messaging or real-time communication infrastructure.

Experience with telecom-grade systems and distributed architectures.
