As a GIS Engineer, you will develop and manage geographic information systems to support spatial data management, analysis, and visualization.
You will leverage GIS platforms and spatial databases to transform complex location-based data into actionable insights for diverse engineering and planning projects.
What You'll Do Design and maintain robust spatial databases to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and efficient retrieval.
Perform advanced spatial analysis and modeling to identify patterns, trends, and geographic relationships.
Create and modify comprehensive datasets using tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, and PostGIS.
Develop high-quality cartographic products and data visualizations, including static and interactive maps.
Automate geoprocessing workflows and data maintenance procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial intelligence into broader technical solutions.
What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in GIS Engineering or Geospatial Data Analysis.
Proven expertise in developing geographic information systems and spatial data management.
Proficiency with GIS platforms such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
Hands-on experience with spatial databases, specifically PostGIS.
Strong background in spatial analysis and data visualization.
