We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Industrial Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing systems across our operations.
This role is critical in driving operational excellence through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles, capacity optimization, labor efficiency, material flow improvements, and ergonomic solutions. The adecuado candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proactive mindset and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
We are looking for someone who challenges the status quo, identifies opportunities for improvement, and drives execution to deliver measurable results. Responsabilities:
Read the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing systems to improve productivity, quality, safety, and cost performance.
Develop and maintain Manufacturing System Design (MSD), including labor planning, takt time analysis, machine capacity studies, mixed-model analysis, and resource utilization strategies.
Design and optimize plant layouts, production cells, and material flow strategies to maximize operational efficiency and support business growth.
Lead line balancing activities and establish standardized work practices to improve productivity and reduce variation.
Perform capacity analyses and support customer requirements related to production readiness, Run-at-Rate events, and operational performance validation.
Develop ergonomic solutions and workplace assessments to improve safety, employee well-being, and operational performance.
Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Production, Logistics, Maintenance, Launch, and Engineering teams to ensure successful project execution.
Support new product launches by designing scalable and efficient manufacturing processes.
Analyze operational data and identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve throughput, and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Lead and facilitate problem-solving activities to eliminate bottlenecks and improve manufacturing performance. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in industrial engineering ir similar roles.
Experience within automotive, Tier 1 supplier, or high-volume manufacturing environments. (Plus)
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, work measurement, line balancing, and capacity planning.
Experience with AutoCAD and manufacturing layout design.
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
Advanced English communication skills.
