As the Financial Analyst for our manufacturing site in Matamoros, Mexico, you will serve with a strong Finance Team to craft bold and achievable financial objectives.
And you'll collaborate across functions to achieve the site's growth and profitability goals.
**Responsibilities**:
- Partner with the site leadership team to achieve monthly and quarterly financial commitments, with an emphasis on margin improvement.
- Provide month end reporting and forecasting for the site.
- Partner with General Accounting, Cost Accounting to ensure financial results are accurate and aligned with company policies.
- Collaborate with Cost Accounting and assist in analyzing appropriate standards during Cost Rolls.
- Analyze the financial results for the site, providing concise explanations and support for deviations to financial forecasts.
Communicate risks and opportunities to upper management and site management team.
- Prepare the annual operating plan (AOP) and financial forecasts.
- Conduct detailed supporting analysis on P&L; accounts that affect gross margin.
- Drive continuous improvement to department procedures and processes to improve efficiency.
- Provide financial data and analysis for decision-making.




- Assist the Finance Manager with reporting and analysis as needed.
- Help the Finance team with extra projects, such as analyzing arguments for capital investments, tracking capital spending and forecasts, entering data into the capital project system, investigating financial issues, or other projects as necessary.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance or accounting or related field with 2+ years of finance/accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel)
- Demonstrates problem solving and in-depth analytical skills.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence diverse work teams.
- Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to make decisions with good judgment while aligning with policies and procedures.
- Proficient in both Spanish and English languages.
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**:
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills working across various functions
- Consistent track record of strong attention to detail.
- Desire to formulate and drive process improvements.
