Full Stack Developer (Associate).

Summary of Major Responsibilities.

We're looking for an Associate Full Stack Developer who has some hands-on professional experience under their belt, and who is looking to continue growing their software design skills, collaborate with peers, and communicate effectively with other members of the team. The Engineer will build, test, and evaluate software applications and systems, working closely with senior team members to ensure they function according to specified requirements. This person must be able to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to help deliver software products to the business.

This position requires hands-on experience with Python, React, TypeScript, and AWS, along with a strong willingness to keep learning and take on more responsibility over time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Apply best practices in software development, including software design, code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration

.• Apply and continue building knowledge of computing systems and system design, with guidance from senior engineers as needed

.• Demonstrate teamwork, problem-solving, and clear communication skills

.• Be proactive, motivated, and engaged in day-to-day work

.• Help construct, deploy, and maintain computer applications software or specialized utility programs, with support from senior team members on more complex work

.• Apply established system security and data assurance practices in day-to-day development

.• Take advantage of AI tooling to improve software development practices and efficiency

.• Test software applications and systems

.• Contribute to documenting requirements and specifications

.• Contribute to flowcharts, diagrams, and other technical documentation

.• Contribute to manuals and detailed sets of instructions, including algorithms

.• Collaborate with software testers on quality assurance activities





.• Participate actively in peer code reviews and collaborate with teammates to solve problems

Minimum Qualifications**

: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience

).• 2 - 3 years of hands-on, professional experience designing, developing, or maintaining software applications using Python or a similar High-Level Programming Language/framework (e.g., C# with .NET

).• Exposure to Structured Logging, Monitoring, and/or Observability platforms (e.g., Datadog, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch

).• Experience writing Unit Tests and contributing to test coverag e.• Familiarity with Event Driven Architecture concept s.• Working knowledge of AWS or another cloud provider; exposure to cloud-native development (Serverless, Lambda) is a plu s.• Working knowledge of REST API s.• Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts (e.g., AWS CDK) is a plu s.• Basic experience integrating Authentication and Authorization into a web applicatio n.• Familiarity with OAuth 2.
