We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to drive the modernization, governance, and expansion of our developer tooling platform.
This position calls for extensive, hands-on enterprise-level knowledge of GitHub Actions (including runner setup and scaling), Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform. You will take charge of planning and carrying out intricate migrations of key development tools to SaaS, hardening pipelines, and constructing robust developer infrastructures.
Responsibilities Set up, oversee, and expand GitHub Actions at an enterprise scale, managing self-hosted runner infrastructure, runner groups, and network/proxy limitations
Architect secure CI/CD pipelines that meet enterprise-grade security requirements
Apply Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) to automate, deploy, and scale temporary runner environments and platform services
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of migrating enterprise development tools from on-premises systems to SaaS, managing stakeholders and rollout phases along the way
Oversee and refine Artifactory architecture,
including repository configurations for Maven, npm, PyPI, NuGet, and Docker
Set up replication processes, access permissions, and retention policies for artifact and package management systems
Apply security best practices throughout CI/CD pipelines, covering least-privilege token management, environment protections, CODEOWNERS setup, and action signing
Manage SonarQube/SonarCloud platforms, establishing Quality Gates and overseeing Pull Request analysis processes
Set up and expand Dependabot usage across varied technology stacks, handling scheduling and dependency grouping
Address and resolve security vulnerabilities surfaced through dependency management tools Requirements At least 5 years of professional background in Developer Platform Engineering, Systems Administration, or DevOps with an emphasis on platform work A minimum of one year of experience leading and overseeing teams
Advanced, practical expertise in configuring, managing, and scaling GitHub Actions at enterprise scale, with proven deep technical knowledge beyond basic familiarity
Demonstrated success migrating at least one major tooling platform (such as CI/CD, Artifactory, or Sonar) into a SaaS setup
Strong Linux administration capabilities for maintaining and managing server infrastructure
Skilled in YAML for setting up pipelines,
infrastructure, and automation processes
Solid grasp of package management via JFrog Artifactory and dependency tools like Dependabot
Strong scripting capabilities in Python or Go, along with a firm grasp of networking basics including TLS, proxies, and DNS
Strong written and spoken proficiency in English at a C1 level or higher Nice to have Solid, hands-on background with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform in large-scale enterprise settings
Exposure to Ansible for handling configuration management and automating routine tasks
Experience deploying and managing containerized workloads using Azure Containers
Practical familiarity with Bash for scripting and automating system-level operations
